Breast Cancer Awareness Month

 

Love the moment, and the energy of that moment will spread beyond all boundaries.

National Breast Cancer Awareness month was founded in 1985. The famous pink ribbon came along in 1993 when the Estee Lauder Company established The Breast Cancer Research Fund. Ever since, pink ribbons and October have served as reminders that all women need to be screened for breast cancer.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

As women, we have a tendency to not take care of ourselves. To put the needs (and even the tiny wants) of others before our own.

In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.

Some women may think they won’t get breast cancer because it doesn’t run in their family.

Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.

Others may feel like there’s just no time to get to the doctor for a screening.

Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.

It’s important that every woman get screened for breast cancer. You’re important. You owe to yourself and to all of the people who love and rely on you to take care of your body.

Please get screened and talk with your provider about any family history and the appropriate schedule of screenings for you.

Weekly Planners & Date Books

 

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Our busy season is just starting here at Brush Dance.  Those of us who are planner nerds already have chosen our 2017 tools to help us get ready for 2017.

Today, we are featuring a few of our 2017 Weekly Planners and our 2017 Date Books.

All of our Weekly Planners have the same uncomplicated interior design (in varying colors). We feature one week per spread and handy lined spaces for each day of the week. Brush Dance Weekly Planners also have an elastic band to keep things tidy.

I love love love that the year runs straight through these books with no stopping. At the front of the Planner, we feature 14 monthly planning pages. I’ll show you my planner and how I use the pages in a future post.

With hearts established in mindfulness, we are truly present.

Brush Dance Date Books have been a favorite for many years. These hardcover books feature monthly illustrated tabbed dividers, one week per page, a nifty pocket, and (again) an elastic band to keep your stuff together.

True-Blue Bravery – We’re talking about the every day, every moment kind of bravery of being yourself, your real true-blue self, brilliant and inspired or imperfect and messy. Owning all of it.

I’ve decided to use a Weekly Planner this year. The harder decision is going to be which one!

Our Date Books measure 6.5″ x 8.5″ – they would be beautiful for a desk or taken with you in larger bags.

I know I’ll be going with a Weekly Planner for the coming year (I can’t resist the size and simplicity). I just need to figure out which one.

Fall Color Trends

Each year, Pantone (the color experts) comes out with its Fall Fashion Color Report. Above are the trending colors for this season. There are some really attractive ones in the mix this year – and maybe one or two I’m not so wild about.  I love the names – the gray is Sharkskin, the red is Aurora Red, and that purply color on the end is Bodacious.

2017 Calendars, Planners, Date Books

 

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

We are thrilled to announce that our 2017 Calendar, Planner, and Date Book items have arrived in our warehouse and are ready to ship.

There are old favorites like Live with Intention from artist and friend Renee Locks and some new (and already popular!) titles such as Mindful Eating.
